SES-2000 compact Sub-Bottom Profiler

The SES-2000 compact model is the smallest member of the SES-2000 sub-bottom profiler family. It was designed for inshore surveys in shallow-water down to 400 metres water depth, but can also be used in coastal areas.

Because of its small size and weght this system is convenient even on the smallest boat. Controlled via Ethernet using any Windows based PC or laptop it is a user friendly and affordable design, too.

SES-2000 light Sub-Bottom Profiler

The SES-2000 light sub-bottom profiler is designed for shallow-water applications inshore and near-shore at water depths down to 400 meters.

The integrated control PC and the included full-waveform data acquisition give advantages compared to the SES-2000 compact model.

SES-2000 light plus Sub-Bottom Profiler
and Dual-Frequency Sidescan Sonar

The SES-2000 light plus model acquires simultaneously sub-seafloor and sidescan data in shallow water.

A unique feature of this model is the integrated dual-frequency sidecan. In total you get three data sets for each survey line: single-beam echosounder, sub-bottom and sidescan data.

All transducers are pole-mounted at the same location. Having just one reference point simplifies processing. No deployment or recovery of towed items is necessary, which reduces survey time and minimizes the probabilty of equipment damage or loss.

SES-2000 sidescan data can be used for seabed classification using third-party software like Quester Tangent's QTC SwathView.

SES-2000 standard Sub-Bottom Profiler

From the wide range of SES-2000 parametric sub-bottom profilers the SES-2000 standard model is the most versatile one: it is small enough to be used on small boats for inshore surveys but also powerful enough to be applicable for offshore surveys down to 500m water depth.

The high ping rate, small footprint and the possibility of transmitting sound pulses over a wide frequency range ensure sub-seafloor data with excellent resolution and very good sediment penetration. Electronic beam stabilization will give good results under bad weather conditions, too.

A user-friendly data acquisition and system control software (SESWIN) provides the possibility for network remote operation as well as remote data visualization.

The SES-2000 standard model acquires full-waveform data that can be processed with any seismic software (SEG-Y format). Innomar also provides the ISE post-processing software specialized on the SES-2000 data.

SES-2000 quattro Sub-Bottom Profiler

The SES-2000 quattro multi-transducer sub-bottom profiler is designed for applications which need very high data density in extremely shallow waters. These applications include pipeline and cable surveys, risk mitigation at offshore building sites or archeological surveys.

Four highly portable transducers can be assembled in different ways to provide optimal solutions for diffrenet survey tasks:

  • Quad beam mode (QBM): line array for highest data density
  • Single beam mode (SBM): square array for increased sediment penetration
  • Dual beam mode (DBM): two transducers combined

SES-2000 medium-100 Sub-Bottom Profiler

The SES-2000 medium-100 parametric sub-bottom profiler is designed for offshore applications down to 2,000m water depth. The transducer can be either mounted over-the-side or in the hull.

The SES-2000 medium-100 SBP acquires full-waveform data that can be processed with any seismic software (SEG-Y format). Innomar also provides the ISE post-processing software specialized on the SES-2000 data.

SES-2000 medium-70 Sub-Bottom Profiler

The SES-2000 medium-70 parametric sub-bottom profiler is designed for offshore applications down to 2,500m water depth.

This model is based on the SES-2000 medium-100 SBP, but uses lower primary frequencies to achieve extended range and penetration. The lower frequencies also reduce acoustic interference with some multibeam echosounders.

The SES-2000 medium-70 SBP acquires full-waveform data that can be processed with any seismic software (SEG-Y format). Innomar also provides the ISE post-processing software specialized on the SES-2000 data.

SES-2000 deep-36 Sub-Bottom Profiler

The SES-2000 deep-36 parametric sub-bottom profiler is designed for offshore applications down to 6,000m water depth.

The SES-2000 deep-36 SBP acquires full-waveform data that can be processed with any seismic software (SEG-Y format). Innomar also provides the ISE post-processing software specialized on the SES-2000 data.

SES-2000 deep-15 — full ocean depth SBP

The SES-2000 deep-15 parametric sub-bottom profiler is designed for offshore applications down to 11,000m water depth.

The SES-2000 deep-15 SBP acquires full-waveform data that can be processed with any seismic software (SEG-Y format). Innomar also provides the ISE post-processing software specialized on the SES-2000 data.

SES-2000 AUV Sub-Bottom Profiler

The SES-2000 AUV model performs like a SES-2000 compactSBP and is intended to be used on AUVs working up to 2,000m below sea level.

The high ping rate, a small footprint and the possibility of transmitting sound pulses over a wide frequency range ensure echoprints with excellent resolution and very good sediment penetration.

A user-friendly Windows data acquisition and system control software (SESWIN) is used for remote (Ethernet) operation. The SES-2000 AUV model acquires full-waveform data that can be processed with any seismic software (SEG-Y format). Innomar also provides the ISE post-processing software specialized on the SES-2000 data.

SES-2000 towfish — Towed Sub-Bottom Profiler

The SES-2000 towfish model performs like a SES-2000 standard SBP, but is towed to maintain an optimal distance to the seabed for highest resolution and detection probabilty of buried objects like pipelines and cables. This model is depth rated up to 600 meters. The high ping rate, a small footprint and the possibility of transmitting sound pulses over a wide frequency range ensure echoprints with excellent resolution and very good sediment penetration. Electronic beam stabilization along track (pitch) is used to compensate any towfish tilt. A user-friendly Windows data acquisition and system control software (SESWIN) is used for remote (Ethernet) operation. The SES-2000 towfish model acquires full-waveform data that can be processed with any seismic software (SEG-Y format). Innomar also provides the ISE post-processing software specialized on the SES-2000 data.

USV / Survey Catamaran

Innomar's parametric sub-bottom profilers are often used in shallow and extremely shallow waters with limited acces for vessels and boats. To support such surveys Innomar offers a remotely operated survey catamaran which can be used to survey a pre-defined area automatically or to work in protected areas like drinking-water reservoirs.

This unmanned surface vehicle (USV) acts as stable pltform for a variety of equipment like sub-bottom profilers, ADCP, MBES or sidescan sonars.

The design of the Innomar-USV is based on a predecessor which was used in many in- and near-shore surveys for about 10 years. Newly developed propulsion will give outstanding performance and a new control concept will ease handling and operation of the equipment. There are two payload containers with a volume of about 50 liters each within the hulls. The total payload capacity is about 100kg.

This new USV will be available for renting in October 2015.
